The Easiest Scholarships Ever - PART 1-

The following 26 scholarships are quick and easy to apply for; each scholarship only takes a few minutes  to complete.  Moreover, there are no essays to compose or extensive academic records that are required.   However, the one down side is that the odds of winning one of these scholarships might not be as good as the odds of winning some of the more difficult or obscure traditional scholarships.  A good way to increase the odds in your favor is to apply to as many of them as possible.  Even better, continue to apply to the more traditional scholarships while simultaneously applying for the scholarship drawings.  To get a good idea about the odds of winning some of the different scholarships, please refer to these next excellent articles:

1. SunTrust "Off To College" Scholarship Sweepstakes - The registration for the 2011-2012 Sweepstakes begins September 16th (so you don't need to apply for this one until the fall.)  The Off To College Sweepstakes offers students the chance to win a $1,000 scholarship for educational expenses at an accredited college or private career college.  High school seniors that are planning to attend college and current college students who will be continuing their undergraduate studies are eligible to apply for this scholarship contest.  Fifteen drawings will be held and one winner will be chosen every two weeks from October 28th, 2011 through May 11, 2012.  This contest is free to enter and the eligibility is not based on GPA or financial need.  Students are allowed only one entry per drawing; however, they may register again for each drawing period (every two week period.)  To enter (in the fall), students should click on the link and fill the online entry form.  Full details are also available on the link.

2. eCampus  Scholarship Giveaway - Register for an account with eCampus Tours and then you are eligible to register for the scholarship giveaway.  Both registrations are free.  As a side benefit, once you have created an account and profile with eCampus, you will be able to search for even more scholarships.  Not only is this an extensive scholarship search resource but there is also data about items such as how to compare different financial aid packages.  Once you are registered, complete and submit an online form for the scholarship by March 31st, 2012.  Two winners will each receive a $1,000 scholarship.  The drawing to pick the winners will be random.  There is a limit of one entry per student.  Full details are available here.

3. Car Quarterly Scholarship Awards - Every three months, Car awards a $500 scholarship.  The next application deadline is for December 31st, 2011.  Just click on the link to find out more information about this scholarship.

4. Efficient Learning Systems, Inc. Scholarships - According to the Efficient Learning System, Inc.'s site, they "award several hundred full CPAexcel Professional Mentoring scholarships each year, without conditions or obligations of any kind, under the following programs:

  • University Scholarships- (they)... provide universities with two scholarships per year.
  • Spring and Fall Scholarship Drawings- Every Spring and Fall (they)... send out letters to university professors, accounting fraternities and students encouraging them to enter out scholarship drawing.
  • AAA Annual Meeting Scholarships - (They)... offer  university professors an additional opportunity to award a scholarship when they visit (ELS)... at the AAA annual meeting.
  • BAP Scholarships- (They)... provide registered BAP fraternities with one scholarship per year.
  • Monthly Drawing Scholarships- Each month (they)... award one scholarship to a student who has registered online for (their) ... drawing.  To view the online registration form, click here,
  • Special Events- (ELS)... is always looking for new ways to increase the reach of (their)... scholarship program.  If you are involved in an academic not-for-profit organization, please contact CPAexcel to discuss scholarship awards."

5. Any - has set up a fund to award college scholarships.  This free and easy to enter scholarship drawing is awarded randomly.  The Scholarship deadlines, winners and amount of the award are listed on this link.   According to this link, the next drawing deadline is September 30th).  Also, the scholarship award will be $2000.  Just click on the first link and fill out the short survey available on the link to enter.

6. Scholarship Points -Scholarship Points has monthly scholarship drawings worth up to $10,000.  According to this link, "Members earn scholarship points for doing what they already do online: shopping, reading blogs, playing games, searching the web, taking surveys, and more! The more you do – the more scholarship points you earn – the more chances you have at winning a scholarship. We gave away over $120,000 in scholarships in 2010 and we're looking to give away even more in 2011! Register ... and you could be (their) next BIG scholarship winner!"


7. The $2000 College Prowler No Essay College Scholarship -    College Prowler appreciates  how little time students have; therefore, they have designed their scholarship to be as easy as possible to complete.  Students that receive the scholarship are allowed to use the scholarship for tuition, housing, meal plans, books, computers, or any education-related expense.  Just click on the link above to fill out the on-line application.  The application gives students the opportunity to enter the drawing for $2000.  Complete details about the scholarship are available on the link.

If High School Students Just Register at College Prowler - then they can be entered for their $1000 drawing.  The registration is for the College Prowler Scholarship and College Search so even if you don't win the drawing you get to find out about scholarships.

If College Students Enter The $1000 Monthly Survey Scholarship- they can enter for a chance to win the $1000.  All students have to do is review their school.  Go to this link if you are interested in reviewing your college for a chance to win this scholarship.

9. College NET - Each week CollegeNET awards a scholarship to the member of CollegeNET that earns the most points or votes.  For instance, this week they are giving a scholarship of $5,000.  You can sign up for a free CollegeNET Candidate account if you are a student (or planning on becoming a student within this next year.)  Joining will allow you to set up a profile, create forums, and post your ideas.   Other members of CollegeNET can vote for you if they enjoy what you have to say and vice versa.  Casting and receiving votes earns you points.  If you earn the most points, you win the scholarship for that week.  CollegeNET is %100 supported by advertiser and scholarship sponsors.  They respect your data privacy and do not sell your personal data.

10. Scholarship Program -, the popular Q & A site, established a $20,000 scholarship fund  to help deserving students obtain an education. awards one winner with a $5000 scholarship, two second place winners with a $2,500 scholarship (each), and ten third place winners with a $1,000 scholarship (each.)  The entry period for the contest usually lasts from January until February.  Thus, the entry period is currently closed.  However, it should open later in the year.  It is definitely worth it to continue to check back with this link later in the year.  In prior contests, entrants needed to answer 50 questions on any topic that was available and then submit an application with 50 new questions.

11. Frame My Future Scholarship Contest - This scholarship contest from Church Hill Classics doesn't require entrants to submit essays or fulfill extensive prerequisites in order for the students to be eligible for the contest.  Instead, the contest is meant to be a fun and creative way for students to earn scholarship money.  The entry period usually lasts from October until March.  While the 2011 Frame My Future Contest entry period has ended, the 2012 should be announced soon.  The link above leads to the official site of the contest.  Click on the link on the website that allows you to sign up for 2012 notification list.  After signing up, students can be notified (by email) the moment the 2012 scholarship contest begins.  The 2011 contest asked students to submit an original entry piece that described what students wanted to accomplish after they finished college.  The theme for 2011 was: "how I frame my future."  Students could submit any of the following pieces based on the theme for their entry:

  • photographs
  • collages
  • poems
  • drawing
  • paintings
  • graphic designs
  • and other creative media that is specified on the official site
The Grand Prize winner award for 2011 was $5,000.  They also awarded 5 additional $1,000 scholarships.   Students attending a U.S. college or university full time ( who are legal residents of the U.S.) are eligible to enter the contest.

12. Go College Scholarship - Go offers a free $250 monthly scholarship drawing for students.  It is incredibly easy to enter this contest.  Just use the Go website and give Go College your opinion on how to improve their website.  This website also lists many scholarships and college admission tips.

13. Next Step Magazine Scholarship - Register with Next Step for a chance to win up to $10,000 for college.  The deadline to enter is January 2, 2012. Next Step also holds a $100 teen writing contest.  Students that enter can win $100 along with a chance to have their writing published in Next Step Magazine.  Students that register for either contest will be receive free Next Step electronic magazines and newsletters.  The magazine focuses on college planning advice.

14. Super College Scholarships - This is a $1500 scholarship contest that is open to all students (high school, college, grad or adult) who are currently in college or plan to attend college within the next year. The scholarship can be used on educational expenses.  The deadline to apply is on July 31st, 2011.

15. US Bank Scholarships - US Bank will award 40 $1000 scholarships for the 2011-2012 academic year.  Click on the link above to apply online.  The application will be accepted from October 1st, 2011 through March 31st, 2012.  All high school seniors (graduating in the 2011-2012 academic year) and college undergraduates are eligible for the scholarship.  Winners will be selected at random.

16. CKSF Scholarship -  According to the overview about The Common Knowledge Scholarships, these scholarships were created to be fun and easy and yet still educational.  Students do not need to submit essays or their academic records in order to be considered for these scholarships.  Instead, these scholarships are quizzes 'that reward students for demonstrating what they know'.  High school students up through graduate students are eligible (they do have that many levels of quizzes.)  New scholarships become available on a monthly basis.  The current scholarships are listed here.

17. "Tell A Friend" Sweepstakes - To enter this scholarship, register with and refer friends to register as well.  For every friend that creates a profile on by clicking the link of the original referrer, will enter the original referrer in for another chance at winning the $1000 scholarship.  There is no limit to how many people can link to a referrer.  If the referrer wins the scholarship, one of the friends will be chosen at random to receive a $500 scholarship.  Friends can be referred from Facebook, IM, Tweets, or other means.  The official rules are available at this link.  The sweepstakes ends on September 30th, 2011.

18. Wells Fargo College STEPS Program - When high school students enroll in Wells Fargo's STEPS Program , they will be sent emails that contain tips on how to study, get financial aid, and make campus visits.  Even better, students who sign up for the STEPS program will be automatically enrolled into the CollegeSTEPS Sweepstakes.  The Sweepstakes scholarship award is $1,000; and Wells Fargo will award 20 $1,000 scholarships.  The Sweepstakes is open to full or part-time high school students (freshmen through seniors) who are legal residents of the U.S. and attend high school (including home school.)   Only one entry per eligible contestant is permitted.  No purchase is necessary to enter.  The official rules are available at this link. 19. Christian College Scholarship Drawing - The Christian Connector, Inc. awards $2,500 in its undergraduate scholarship drawing.  To enter the drawing, click on the link above and complete the request form on their website.  Christian Connector will also send you free information about Christian colleges/universities and the over $150 million in scholarships that are available on their scholarship search.  The Drawing rules pages can be viewed here.  According to the rules page, there are actually 4 different scholarships.  The first scholarship, the Undergraduate Scholarship Drawing, has already been mentioned.  However, it is important to know about the eligibility criteria that is listed on the rules page.  The second scholarship is the Seminary/Christian Graduate School Scholarship $1000 Drawing; and the criteria for eligibility is also listed on the rules page.  The third scholarship is the Distance Learning (Undergraduate or Graduate) Scholarship $1000 Drawing.  The fourth scholarship is the Missions Scholarship $1,000 Drawing.  The eligibility criteria for both the third and the fourth scholarships are also listed on the rules page.  The scholarship drawings run each year from June 1st through May 31st.

20. Sallie Mae College Answer Scholarship Drawings - Register on Sallie Mae's website to enter their monthly $1,000 scholarship drawing.  Parents of students are also eligible to win the annual $10,000 Parent Answer Sweepstakes.  Registration on the site also enables students to search Sallie Mae's scholarship database.

21. Discover Colleges Scholarships - To enter this $2500 scholarship drawing, just complete and submit the registration form on the link above.  A word of caution, the site discloses that this is for private colleges only.

22. $20,000 Sweet Diggity Dawg Scholarship  - is sponsoring this $20,000 scholarship.  Current high school students graduating in 2011, 2012, 2013 or 2014 with a minimum of a 2.0 GPA are eligible to enter this contest.  The deadline to enter is on January 15th, 2012.  Just fill out the Zinch profile that is available on their website in order to enter.  Students that have registered with will gain access to Zinch's database of over 1.1 million scholarships (with some exclusive scholarships) that total over $1.7 billion dollars.  Better yet, Zinch matches any scholarship that a student that is registered with them wins.  Also, for every referral to Zinch that wins a scholarship, Zinch will also give the friend that made the referral an equal scholarship.

23. Free College Scholarships - To enter to win this $10,000 scholarship, just complete and submit the online application at the link above.  The scholarship can be used at any college, university, or academic program.  The official terms and conditions of the drawing can be found here.  The deadline to enter is on July 15th, 2011.  The scholarship is only available to students that are 18 years old or older.  The drawing is currently open to U.S. residents only. No purchase is necessary to enter the drawing.

24. Ipsos i-Say $5000 Scholarship - This contest is open to all legal Canadian and United States residents who are 14 years old or older (with the exception of employees of IPSOS-REID Corporation and Ipsos Insight, its divisions, subsidiaries and affiliates, their respective agencies, and members of their immediate families.)

25. $5,555 Super Student Stimulus Scholarship - College Students or students intending to enroll in college (in this next year) are eligible to apply for this scholarship from Zinch.  The deadline to apply for this scholarship is on December 31st, 2011.

26. Cappex "A GPA Isn't Everything" Scholarship - To enter  this $1000 scholarship drawing from Cappex, fill out and submit the online registration form.  This scholarship opportunity will be available at any college or university. To be eligible, students must currently be enrolled in either high school or college ( or plan to enroll in the next 12 months.)  The application deadline is on July 31st, 2011.  One scholarship will be awarded.  Cappex is granting up to $50,000 in scholarships in 2011.
